I had a concept to make a recipe kit for energy balls after I had been creating my own recipes and adding them to this blog for a couple of years.

I launched the kits on Kickstarter in July 2018 for 3 reasons:
- To check there was a market for the product
- To build funds (cashflow) for my first kits to be made
- To generate a buzz around the product with positive PR
Needless to say, the product took off successfully, and within 1 year I had sold recipe kits around the world, had famous and Olympian customers, and had a listing with Selfridges; Voted Best Department Store in the World numerous times.
